Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR & others condole BA Rajus death

The demise of senior PRO BA Raju has left some of the biggest names of Tollywood shocked. On Saturday, they took to social media and expressed their heartfelt condolences.

Chiranjeevi said that there is nobody in the film industry who doesn't know of BA Raju. "He used to share a lot of things about the industry with me during my Madras days. I used to learn a lot of new things from him. He would appear on the sets of my film and have light conversations with me," Chiru said. The Megastar added that Raju was a knowledge bank who would recall the monetary figures netted by old classics just like that. "He was a film encyclopedia who would have release dates, box-office figures and other details about films on fingertips," Chiru said.

Mahesh Babu wrote that he is not able to process the sudden demise of BA Raju. "I have known him since my childhood. We travelled together for many years and I worked with him very closely. A thorough professional and a gentleman at heart who was immensely passionate about cinema. Our family meant the world to him. A monumental loss for our family and the media fraternity," the superstar added.

"As one of the most senior film journalists and PROs, he has contributed greatly to the film industry," Tarak added, saying that he has known him since my earliest days in the Telugu film industry. The 'RRR' actor described Raju's death as a huge loss.

Venkatesh said that he is at a loss for words. "I have known him since my first film and he has always been such a warm and kind-hearted person," the 'Narappa' actor added.

SS Rajamouli said that he is truly shocked by the sudden demise of BA Raju. "Losing a senior member like him, who has such a vast experience of working as a Film Journalist & PRO for over 1500 movies, is a void that cannot be filled," the director said.
