Chirutha Puli on 11.11.11

Tamil film legend Sivaji Ganesan's Tamil film Singakutti will be released in Telugu as Chirutha Puli. Produced by Kunireddy Srinivas, the film is directed by A Venkatesh. Gowri Manjul, Malavika and Priya are the heroines.

The film has the backdrop of Madurai Meenakshi Temple. To be released with over 100 prints across the State on the 11th, the film is about a heroic cop who has to choose between his mother and the motherland. Without a hesitation, he chooses the latter in fighting the anti-national terrorists.

The film was to release long back, but it was put on hold owing to some unknown reasons.

It has music by Prasanna Shekhar. Dialogues and lyrics are by Bharathi Babu.

Originally made on a budget of Rs. 20 crores, the film is yet another terrorist flick.
