One of the most awaited upcoming Tamil movie is Chiyaan Vikram's 'Thangalaan' directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Studio Green. A major shooting schedule of more than a month was recently concluded and the next phase of filming is going to start soon.

Meanwhile Ranjith has given the surprising information about Vikram's make-up in the film in a recent interview. He stated that the top hero spends 4 hours every day on make-up alone and is simply enjoying every scene he is acting in. The highly rated filmmaker added that Vikram has spent much more time for makeup in other films and it is nothing new but this one will be a major milestone in his career for its perfection.

It is said that the 'Thangalaan' cast and crew will soon move to the Kolar Gold Fields where the period film is set for a long schedule. The film has music by GV Prakash and stars Vikram, Parvathi Thiruvottu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathi and others.

Plans are on to release this biggie in one of the major festivals this year in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The combo of Chiyaan Vikram and Pa.
