Choori Katte Rakshit Shetty release teaser

The much sought after actor, director and producer at a very young age Rakshit Shetty released the teaser of ‘Choori Katte’ Kannada cinema in the direction of Raghu Shivamogga. Raghu in the past made ‘Chowka Baara’ short film with popular artists like Achyuth Kumar and Sharat Lohitashva found success in his first endeavor.

The feature film this time ‘Choori Katte’ that reminds the pre independence era of a border area of Shivamogga and Uttar Karnataka is his concept.

Rakshit Shetty releasing the teaser of the film at Chamundesware Studio wished good luck and expressed surprise with the quality in making of Raghu Shivamogga and team.

‘Simple Ag Innond Love Story’ hero Praveen is very happy with the film content and tight script and screenplay. Achyuth Kumar figures in earlier making of Raghu Shivamogga sensed that one day director would make it to big screen. It has happened now. Achyuth Kumar plays the role of an inspector in this film.

When theatre and stage actors join together there will be healthy debate and end product will be attractive says veteran actor Dattanna. Another firebrand actor Manjunath Hegde is in the forest officer role also hails from Shivamogga district.

Making debut Prerana explained her experience at the time of shooting as a college student of Malnad region. Villain in the film Balaji Manohar, producer Tulasi Ramudu, background music provider Nobin Paul, Vivek Simha, Rohith Bhanuprakash plus the music director Vasuki Vaibhav addressed the gathering.

Music director Vasuki Vaibhav rendered songs and that was in fact for the waiting for arrival of Rakshit Shetty, chief guest of the teaser release event.

‘Choori Katte’ a border place in Shivamogga and Uttar Kannada. For carrying of goods in the British rule by train the tax was supposed to pay. The officials were not paying the tax and that incurred losses to the government. There was a circle with a ‘Katte’(bench) in that locality where many activities used to happen. To fight out the crooks around this Katte, a knife (Choori) was utilized for protection. The area became popular as ‘Choori Katte’.
