Chris Evans quits Captain America

Chris Evans who has played 'Captain America' in a number of movies has called it quits. The 37 year old actor has stated "“Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last eight years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.”

Fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment over Chris Evans quitting his iconic roles of 'Captain America' and his alter ego Steve Rogers. Dwayne Johnson has posted "What a run you had, brother. Congrats on breathing life into such an iconic character. Keep on keepin’ on.”
