Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ first look debuts on the internet! - Hot update

We had already updated that the world-famous Hollywood director Christopher Nolan is teaming up with Universal Pictures for his upcoming film 'Oppenheimer', a biographical drama starring Cillian Murphy. Notably, it is Nolan's first project without the involvement of Warner Bros Pictures since 2000.

The movie is a biography of J Robert Oppenheimer, the theoretical physicist who ran the Manhattan Project that led to the invention of the atomic bomb. He is remembered as one of the fathers of the atom bomb. The renowned filmmaker's new feature will follow the events revolving around the scientist's life, World War II and the atom bomb creation.

This morning, the studio debuted the first look of Cillian Murphy as J Robert Oppenheimer, as the production works kickstarted this week. The new photo shows a monochrome portrait of Murphy's Oppenheimer wearing a hat, with a cigarette between his lips. The movie is slated to come out on July 21, 2023. The first look picture is going viral now.

Oppenheimer also stars Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr, Rami Malek, Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid, Benny Safdie, Kenneth Branagh and Alden Ehrenreich. Nolan will reunite with Tenet composer Ludwig Goransson, cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema and editor Jennifer Lame.
