Popular cinematographer Chezhiyan would soon be going international. The unassuming cameraman, whose work was highly appreciated by the critics and movie-goers in Bala’s award-winning Paradesi, is all set to work in a Hollywood film soon.

Chezhiyan has in his kitty films such as Balaji Sakthivel’s Kalloori,Thamira’s Rettaichuzhi and Seenu Ramasamy’s Tenmerku Paruvakkatru. A protégé of ace cinematographer P.C. Sriram, Chizhiyan was honoured at the recently-held film festival in London for ‘Best Cinematography’ for his work in Bala’s Paradesi.

Grapevine has it that Chezhiyan has received a plum offer from a leading Hollywood production house. Chezhiyan didn’t blink an eyelid before saying ‘yes’ and is said to have already started the preparatory work relating to it.
