CM at 'Prarthane'

For the first time in the history of Kannada cinema the head of the state chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda attended the premier show and the credit for it belongs to journalist turned director Sadashiva Shenoy debut film 'Prarthane'.

On Sunday night 2nd October the Karnataka chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda, Infosys founder Smt Sudha Murthy, 100 years Prof G Venkatasubbaiah, crazy star V Ravichandran, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President KV Chandrasekhar waved the Kannada flag to declare open the start of premier of 'Prarthane'.

Knowing the contents of the film Karnataka chief minister said Gandhian principles also focus on the protection and development of the land and language. The film 'Prarthane' on Kannada language and Kannada school speaks on such principles I believe disclosed the chief minister DVS.

The Chief Minister viewed 20 minutes of the beginning and left for an urgent work. The digital auditorium of GM Rejoyz was over crowded for viewing 'Prarthane' Kannada film. Harish is the producer. Veer Samarth has scored the music and S Ramachandra handled the camera.
