Switch on ceremony and pooja of C/O Saira Banu happened at the location of the film near Kinfra Park , Kalamassery, Cochin. Manju Warrier attended the function dressed as Saira Banu. Shane Nigam of Kismath fame who acts in an important role in the film was also present for the function.
This film marks the comeback of veteran actress Amala to malayalam cinema after 25 years. Her role in Ente Surya Puthry` and Ulladakkam` still lingers in the minds of movie buffs. About her comeback she had earlier stated that malayalam is her favorite language and she is eagerly waiting to act with Manju Warrier an incredible talent of Indian film industry.
The director of the film is Antony Sony and the film is bankrolled by Eros International in association with Mactro Films. Antony Sony earlier worked as the assistant director of Manju Warrier starrer How old are you`.
