Comedian Mayilsamy wisecracks about the IT raid at Dhinakaran's home

Following the raids held at various places owned by people who were close to Sasikala, popular comedian Mayilsamy has stated that this is again a promrotion to TTV Dhinakaran by the centre as it was for Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Mersal’.

Stating that there was no wrong in conducting raids, Mayilsamy opined that the raid’s backdrop was Dhinakaran’s continued show of opposition against the ruling party and 18 MLAs. Mayilsamy also added that the people of Tamil Nadu understood something like this was bound to happen even when PM Modi had come down to pay his respects on Jayalalithaa’s demise.
