Director Stanley had a decent opening with his April Madhathil, a campus love story featuring Srikanth and Sneha. However his next Pudukottailirundhu Saravanan with Dhanush playing the macho man bit the dust.

Taking a break to reinvent himself, Stanley is now back wielding the megaphone for Mercury Pookal starring his lucky mascot Srikanth as hero.

Why again Srikanth? Says Stanley: ‘we share a good wave length. I have been watching him since Rojakootam. More over, I personally felt he is more suited for the subject'.

What is so special about the movie? Stanley says, 'the storyline is dealt in a different way. The crux is that a man should be content with what he gets in his life'.

Srikanth has the company of Meera Jasmine and Samiksha.
