Corporate

Thursday, January 1, 1970 • Hindi Comments

There have been stories about rich and poor. There have been stories about good and evil. There have been stories about powerful and weak.

Now witness the story of POWERFUL V/S POWERFUL!

Because that's the essence of Madhur Bhandarkar's second in the trilogy of straight-out-of-life films - CORPORATE.

Because CORPORATE is the world that is ruled by the POWER of P

PAISA POWER POLITICS

And when the three are held strongly in the hands of one single entity, the entity becomes supreme and undefeatable. In one word - INVINCIBLE!

For ages, the world of business has been powered by one single philosophy - KNOW SOMETHING THAT NO ONE ELSE KNOWS! And this has been qouted by none other than ARISTOTLE himself. Now in 21st century, matters have become further complex as it just doesn't suffice to know what other doesn't know. In fact it is to know what the other person knows...and a little more!

Madhur Bhandarkar brings to you to the story of two such warring corporate houses lead by Vinay Sehgal [Rajat Kapoor], Managing Director, Sehgal Group of Industries and Dharmesh Marwah [Raj Babbar], Managing Director, Marwah International Pvt. Ltd. While there are people like Kay Kay Menon, Harsh Chayya, Bharat Dhabolkar, Minissha Lamba and Sameer Dattani on either side of the two business groups, there is Nishigandha [Bipasha Basu], a businesswoman with high aspirations and hunger to move to the top, who is at the center of all the action.

What happens when market heats up to welcome international players? Both Sehgal Group of Industries and Marwah International Pvt. Ltd. try to get their hands on the best of the deals. In the process what comes across is a cut throat competition that threatens to cross the boundaries of being healthy.

Principals become a thing of the past, ethics are forgotten, evil takes over, friendship turns sour, rules are bent, hunger of power eats up everything and anything that comes in the way, corruption shows its ugly face and all that remains is the thirst for wealth, fame and success!

Is that the business that goes behind the glass walls of a glitzy corporate house?

If the war was just between two individuals or two business houses at maximum, the things could have remained behind the scenes! But that's not all as all the fight, drama and its implications impact the common man on the street too. The man who is unaware about the way a business works and just worries about his next meal!

CORPORATE. A world in itself that has all the elements involved in its day to day functioning, whether it is the executives, the politicians or the coming together of sex and corruption.

How does all that happen? That's the question Bhandarkar aims to answer through his eye opener 'CORPORATE' that opens on July 7.
