Actress Damini is extremely unhappy because of the way in which posters have been designed for the film 'Baa Rathi' in which she plays a television journalist. I have been receiving phone calls for ugly posters of the film. My reputation is at stake and I have decided to file a defamation case against producer cum director of the film Krishne Gowda says Damini addressing the media at Green House restaurant on Monday afternoon. I accepted the film Baa Rathi (it was just Bharathi in the beginning) because the role would fetch me an award. I have not accepted a single rupee as remuneration for the film. Now my fame has been brought down with bad posters all over Damini became very emotional.

The producer and director of the film 'Baa Rathi' Krishne Gowda was contacted after the media address by Damini on Monday afternoon by this reporter.

Krishne Gowda pleads his innocence on the whole issue. He says the poster designed has fumbled. There is no need for Damini to take extreme step. The subject of the film 'Baa Rathi' was approved by the National Film Development Corporation six years ago. They offered me very small budget and that is the reason I dropped producing with NFDC. The film I made is the same subject and the censor board has given me clean chit with not even a single cut.

Damini is trying to take publicity for nothing. This is the stunt of Damini to remain in limelight and get sympathy from the media says Krishne Gowda.
