Mayajaal is opening with 47 shows per day and every single show has been booked till the end of next week. Booking of tickets started on Sunday and no sooner did it start, energetic crowds vied with each other buying tickets in person and also booking them online. Corporates have also bulk booked many shows.

Inox has opened with 10 shows per day and tickets were available till next Thursday. All tickets were sold out in a matter of hours. It was the same story at Abhirami cinema and the film is houseful till Sunday.

Anticipation for the film has skyrocketed so very high that general audiences cannot wait to see Kamal Haasan don those ten roles in this tech savvy entertainer.

The film is releasing in more than 20 theaters in Chennai and the public reaction has been just prolific. ‘Dasavatharam’ is all set to rake in the dough in such a quick pace that the production cost could be recovered in just a couple of weeks.
