The Kollywood was abuzz with rumors of a showdown between Sivaji and Dasavatharam at the box office this summer. However according to reliable sources, it is certain that Rajinikanth's Sivaji would see the light of the day much before.

According to reports, Sivaji would see the light of the day on 17 May. Meanwhile the shooting for Dasavatharam is still on.

The shooting for Dasavatharam would be wound up this June followed by post production works in July. Plans are on to release the movie on Independence Day.

One of the big-budgeted movies with Kamal Haasan in ten different roles, Dasavatharam has a huge star cast which includes Asin, Mallika Sherawat and Nepolean.
