In the most recent Netflix docuseries, "Beckham," that showcases the life and career of distinguished footballer David Beckham, both David and Victoria Beckham (also known as Posh Spice) shared their sentiments on how they see their relationship. In one interview with Victoria, however, David felt he needed to put it straight.

The pilot episode zooms in on what Victoria first liked about David when she quipped, "I think we both come from families that work really hard. Both of our parents work very hard; we're very working class."

David interrupts from the other room, sharply commanding Victoria, "Be honest!" Victoria replies, "I am being honest." But David pushes further with his question, "What car did your dad drive you to school in?" Though at first she answers somewhat methodically that it's not a black-and-white answer and will vary depending on circumstance, he pushes for her answer again after she tries to waffle around the question, and finally she gives up, saying, "OK, in the '80s my dad had a Rolls Royce."

David and Victoria first met at a football match in 1997, and soon they were splashed all over the U.K. tabloids as "Posh and Becks." They got married two years later, in 1999, and have four kids: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

Director of "Beckham," Fisher Stevens stated that he had spent more than 30 hours interviewing David Beckham for the docuseries, with wife Victoria for around 14 hours in an interview conducted by Variety. Spending such lengths to capture them as themselves on camera led to some humorous banter between husband and wife actually being caught on film.

He added that while the Beckhams have been involved in their own controversies, what impressed him most was just how rock-solid and loving they are with each other regardless of it all. "Beckham" is now streaming on Netflix.
