So many celebs have posted their 'I just voted' pics on social media pages. However, Deepika Padukone has done it for an emotional reason. The other day, a rumour went out that she is not an Indian citizen because she has always held a Danish passport as someone who was born in Denmark.

The Bollywood actress wanted to make it a point by voting in Mumbai and proving that she is very much an Indian citizen and a proud one at that. "Never has there been any doubt in my mind about who I am or where I am from. So for those of you confused on my behalf, please don’t be! Jai Hind!" the Hindi film beauty tweeted out.

The row over her alleged non-Indianness has been put to rest, once and for all!
