Will Pudhupettai release on Tamil New year's day?

This is the question that is doing rounds in the industry. Directed by Selvaraghavan featuring big names like Dhanush, Sonia Agarwal and Sneha, the movie being produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers went to floors almost a year ago.

The movie was expected for a release this Pongal but could not grace the theatres as the shooting could not be completed.

Now rumors are doing rounds that the movie may opt out of the race for the Tamil New Year too.

Asked, Swaminathan of Lakshmi Movie Makers said, ' I am not sure about the movie's release on Tamil New Year day.’

But he talks very highly of the movie. Though Selvaraghavan has taken time for making the movie, one can understand it considering the fact that it has so far come out well and the scenes speak for themselves. An out and out action film with good visuals and scintillating songs is Pudhupettai'.
