Well known literary personality Devanuru Mahadeva with Prof KS Bhagwan, Prof H Govindaiah, Dr V Munivenkatappa and Prof Kikkeri Narayana are taking part in the movement episodes of Kannada film 'Government Brahmin' that is based on the literary personality Prof Aravind Malagatthi autobiography.

It is rare to find firebrand writer from backward class Devanoor Mahadeva on screen. Some of his works of this Sahitya Academy award winner like Odalala, Dyavanuru, O Kusumabale are highly talked about. Shy and always far away from publicity Devanuru Mahadeva consented to appear in the 'Chaluvali' scenes because of young journalist from Mysore Sathyalingaraju turning director.

Devanuru Mahadeva has no dialogues and he has taken part in the scenes already. It was not my cup of tea he discloses.

Ravichetan and Roshani are in the Aravind Malagatthi couple roles. Ramesh Bhat, Mandya Ramesh, Tanmayi, Kashyap, Apoorva, Balu, Hari Sunanda Hegde are in the cast. PKH Doss is the cameraman and Pravin Godkindi is the music composer.
