A couple of days ago, Lavanya Tripathi called it quits when she allegedly didn't like the remuneration offered by the makers of Vijay Devarakonda's next, directed by Parusuram.

The news is that Rashmika Mandanna of Kirik Party` (Kannada) fame has been roped in to play the female lead. She will step into Lavanya's shoes.

Rashmika Mandanna is elated. " Yaaay..!! Thankyou @Ga2Pictures for letting me be a part of you.. @ParasuramPetla and @DVijaySai can't wait to start off..thankyou!!," she tweeted.

She also thanked the producers Allu Aravind and Bunny Vas, whose venture the untitled flick is.
