Dhanush is a highly sought after Indian film star currently. He is busy with multiple projects in his pipeline - 'Captain Miller' directed by Arun Matheshwaran, an untitled project with Sekhar Kammula, 'D50' (Raayan) directed by himself, a film with H Vinoth, a film with Ramkumar.

According to the latest reports, the team has resumed the filming of Captain Miller after a month-long break. The makers wrapped up a schedule with Dhanush and the other supporting cast earlier in December 2022 before the holidays. After Pongal, the second schedule of the movie began, with filming in Courtallam, Tamil Nadu.

Captain Miller, produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, is a high budget period action adventure film set in the backdrop of the 1930s. Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sandeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, Shiva Rajkumar and John Kokken in pivotal roles. GV Prakash is composing the musical score for the much-awaited movie, which is slated to hit the screens worldwide on Summer 2023.
