Dhanush is one of the few leading heroes who has received the National Award for best actor at a very young age ('Aadukalam) and is in a league of his own choosing alternating between intense scripts and entertaining ones.

Dhanush is simultaneously acting in 'Asuran' directed by Vetrimaaran and an untitled film directed by Durai Senthilkumar.  The striking thing is that he is playing the father and son in both the films and the two different looks in 'Asuran' has already been released that has fans and critics raving. 

The Durai Senthilkumar film has Sneha as the father Dhanush's pair while Manju Warrier takes the place in 'Asuran'.  The actresses to romance the younger versions of Dhanush in both the films are kept under wraps as of now.
