The phenomenal performer Dhanush is all set to feature in the prestigious biopic film of Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja. As Indiaglitz updated you already, this project marks the reunion of Dhanush and director Arun Matheswaran. Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan launched this movie in a lavish event in Leela Palace today.

The biopic of Ilaiyaraaja is titled 'Ilaiyaraaja'. Dhanush unveiled the first-look poster through his social media handle which shows a young man (back pose) standing in front of the vintage Madras Central railway station. The technical team comprises Ilaiyaraaja himself as the music composer, Nirav Shah as the DOP and Muthuraj as the art director.

This movie is a joint production of Connekkt Media, PK Prime Production and Mercuri Group. Clicks of Dhanush, Ilaiyaraaja and Kamal Haasan from today's film launch event are spreading like wildfire on the internet. The shooting for this much-awaited project commences by the end of this year. 'Ilaiyaraaja' will hit the silver screens next year.
