Dhanush intent on working with Telugu star hero

It's not for nothing that Sri Thenandal Film's Hema Rukmani had said in December that Dhanush's second directorial venture would be a "spectacular larger than life opus".

The news is that the actor-turned-director wants to turn it into a Telugu-Tamil bilingual spectacle that will be eagerly awaited by the Telugus as well. If Dhanush is one of the key actors, a top Telugu star will necessarily be a part of this untitled behemoth.

As per some sources in Chennai, Rajinikanth's son-in-law was keen on roping in Megastar Chiranjeevi. But it somehow didn't work out. He is now said to have approached Akkineni Nagarjuna. It's telling that he is looking only for a senior actor.
