Pongal 2016 offers a variety fare for fans with films of different genres Rajini Murugan`, Kathakali`, Gethu` and Thaarai Thappattai` hitting the screens. However, for the fans of Dhanush and Simbu a pleasant treat awaits them.

Dhanush has announced on twitter that the title and first look of his first project with Prabhu Solomon will be out on Pongal and it is also confirmed that the Thalli Pogadhe` single track by A.R. Rahman for the Simbu starrer Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada` is also coming out on the same day.
