Producer Madhan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures had spoken about the teaser release of Dhanush's maiden dual role flick 'Kodi' in his Red Carpet Interview to IndiaGlitz. He had said that the teaser is fast getting ready and the team is waiting for the theatrical release of 'Thodari' after which the promotions for 'Kodi' would begin.

Now Dhanush-Keerthy Suresh starrer 'Thodari' directed by Prabhu Solomon has been censored with a U certificate and the delayed film has been confirmed to hit the screens on September 22.

So we can expect to witness the teaser of 'Kodi' within a few days after that.

Confirming the same. sources close to the 'Kodi' unit reveal that the First look and teaser of 'Kodi' will be released by the last week of September.

The film, has been directed by Durai Senthilkumar of 'Ethirneechal' and 'Kaaki Sattai' fame. The film stars Trisha and Anupama Parameshwaran as female leads. Santhosh Narayanan has rendered the musical score for this film touted to be a political thriller.

'Kodi' has been scheduled as a Diwali 2016 release.
