The new title of the Tamil remake of 'Arjun Reddy' has been announced which is 'Adithya Varma' directed by Girisaaya with Ravi K Chandran handling the camera and Radhan the music director of the original on board as well. The film has Dhruv Vikram again playing the title role while Banita Santhu is his love interest. Priya Anand has been cast in a pivotal role as well.

The Tamil remake of 'Arjun Reddy' was completed by director Bala under the title 'Varma' but probably for the first time in Kollywood history the producers E4 Entertainment scrapped the movie citing that it was not satisfactory to them. 'Adithya Varma' will go on floors soon and is expected to release in June according to an earlier announcement by producer Mukesh Ratilal Mehta.
