Kamal revealed that Shah Rukh Khan was aware of the budget of this film and did not take any payment for acting. He also stated, "I only gave him a watch as a gift."He also added that he is happy that the Hindi rights of this movie are with Shah Rukh.

On the work front, Kamal is now busy shooting for his next flick 'Vikram' with Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad Fasil. After which he is expected to resume the works of the much-anticipated film "Indian 2"
