Professor Dinkan`, the much talked about big budget project of Dileep started rolling today in Trivandrum. Touted to be an out and out comedy entertainer directed by K Ramachandra Babu, the movie will feature Dileep doing the role of Deepankuran.

Scripted by Rafi, the film would have Dileep's character is a magician who is in search of fame. Namitha Pramod will be romancing Dileep in the movie. The actress will be essaying the role of a magician's daughter. Dileep and Namitha had earlier teamed up for Villali Veeran and Chandrettan Evideya. Though the movie has magic as the central theme, the lead pair will also have a romantic track.

The movie will have Aju Varghese, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Srinda in the supporting cast. Writer-actor Rafi will also be essaying the role of a magician in the movie. As Dileep-Rafi had previously joined for the film 'Two Countries', which was a big hit, professor Dinkan has already created quite a hype among the audiences. Produced by Sanal Thottam, the fantasy-filled family entertainer will be a 3D film and the camera will be cranked by Ramachandra Babu.
