Actor Gautham Karthik the son of yesteryear star Karthik has acted in a few films and is yet to get that much needed break to get a strong hold in Kollywood.

Now the young actor has teamed up for a new film director R.Kannan of 'Jeyamkondan' and 'Kanden Kadhalai' fame. This film will be a romantic comedy that will be produced by Asha Sri of Abira Pvt Limited banner. V.N.Mohyan, a former associate of P.C.Sreeram is roped in for cinematography while Selva will take care of Editing.

The yet to be titled film was launched with a formal pooja in Chennai yesterday. The shooting will start on September 12 at Chennai and will be completed at one long stretch.
