Shriya Saran was in Hyderabad ahead of the release of Mohan Babu's 'Gayatri'. She has played Vishnu Manchu's romantic interest in this drama, directed by Madan.
The 36-year-old actress was asked about her survival in the industry for so long. After all, she was all of 20 when she started out. Many of her contemporaries have disappeared. Not Shriya.
While saying that she has got to play roles written for her, the versatile actress also added that such a question shouldn't be asked in the first place. Taking the example of a 60-year-old Hollywood actress who is never asked how she has been able to survive for decades, Shriya opines that the question is wrong in itself.
