Even as a number of Telugu film personalities are under the radar, a new high-profile arrest has been reported in connection with Tollywood's biggest ever drug scam.
One Roney, better known in industry circles as the manager of Kajal Aggarwal, Raashi Khanna and Lavanya Tripathi in the past, has been taken into custody for allegedly possessing a forbidden drug. This should shed more spotlight into the drugs scandal.
Although Roney has been associated with top actresses, the professional link shouldn't be blown out of proportion. The arrest only proves that the authorities are leaving no stone unturned to curtail the drug abuse problem.
