Drushyam
'Drishyam' was a film, which created waves at the Malayalam box-office. This thriller subject has been one of the biggest hits not only in Mohan Lal's career, but also in the Malayalam film industry. A remake of this film is being shot at present, which is titled as 'Drushyam'. Venkatesh and Meena, the successful pair who have acted in some super hit films like 'Chanti', 'Abbaigaru', 'Sundarakanda', 'Suryavamsham' etc, have teamed up once again after a long time.
The subject of 'Drushyam' revolves around a happy family and how a situation suddenly threatens to turn the lives of this family upside down. The main asset of the original is the gripping story line and the suspense it generates. The film is also said to have a social message of how women should be treated in the society.
Sripriya is the director of 'Drushyam' and Sharreth is the music director.Suresh Productions, Rajkumar Theatres Pvt Ltd and Wide Angle Creations banners are jointly producing this movie. 'Drushyam' is all set for a release in July.
