The pride of this country in variety of roles Prakash Raj came very clear on remake and dubbing at the ‘Oggarane’ Kannada film audio launch at Gold Finch Hotel in Bangalore on Saturday night.

I do not accept dubbing culture. It is a hindrance to cultural mood of any state. We have different culture in different parts of country. When there are enough of original films and remake films there is no need for dubbing opines Prakash Raj strongly. This has been a big support to the majority of people in Kannada cinema and television industry.

I agree for remakes as it does not harm the culture and tradition. When the concept and contents are taken the cultural proximity for the audience to whom the film is made taken care. I have taken up Malayalam film in Kannada as Oggarane, Tamil as ‘Un Samayal Arayil’ in Tamil and ‘Ulavacharu Biryani’ in Telugu but concentrated on the regions need. For the first time the shooting of three languages was also held simultaneously with a very few commonalities. I have taken care of needs picking the subject from Malayalam film ‘Salt N Pepper’.

Remake is picked only when it touches the inner heart. When I did ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’ in Kannada it was haunting subject of father and daughter. In the similar way ‘Salt N Pepper’ attracted me to go ahead with other three prominent south Indian languages says Prakash Raj.

Meanwhile the promise also came from Prakash Raj to make an original subject film with simultaneous shoot in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam languages.
