'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavaada' grosses Nikhil's career highest in US

'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavaada', starring Nikhil, Nandita Shweta and Hebbah Patel in lead roles, hit the screens on Friday amid a scenario of currency crunch. Not only has the romantic thriller got critical applause, it has also been minting impressive sums at the box office. Yesterday, it was reported that the Vi Anand directorial mopped up Rs 1.82 Cr on day one itself.
Nirvana Cinemas, which has distributed the movie in the US, has put out the figures as of Saturday afternoon. And surprising the trade pundits, 'EPC' has grossed USD 2,00,000 in just one-and-a-half-days, thereby becoming Nikhil's career best, pipping even the hit 'Karthikeya'. It is expected to be Nikhil's first One Million Dollar movie in US, as per the distributors.
This could mean that 'EPC' is going to be a bigger hit than 'Karthikeya'.
