In a first, the first few minutes of a film has been released two weeks before the movie actually hits the screens. It's Vijay Antony-starrer 'Bethaludu'.

The psychological thriller has the element of Past Life Regression as a thorough undercurrent. To be sure, there is scope for an excellent human drama for two reasons: Dinesh (Vijay Antony) is suffering from pangs of guilt, and two, who is Jayalakshmi is an exciting suspenseful element. We suppose, Jayalakshmi's identity and the reason why the protagonist murdered (?) her in his last life takes care of the thriller part.

And if crime and human emotions are fully leveraged in exploiting the drama around their interplay, it can get really gripping. We hope that's there. Come December 2, the wait will be over.

Director Pradeep Krishnamurthy's treatment appears to be very realistic, as the scene involving Dinesh and his doctor shows. The visuals are attractive.

Last but not the least, get ready to watch another 'dekko' of a performance from the talented Vijay Antony.
