Shocking! Officer withholds Vishal's nomination for TFPC Elections

Actor Vishal and his team comprising of leading directors, actors and young producers filed their nomination to contest in the upcoming elections to be held for Tamil Film Producers Council. ALSO READ : (Surprise! Vishal Team includes leading actors, directors and producers)

Vishal was earlier suspended by the TFPC and he has been reinstated after the intervention of the Madras High Court. Immediately he filed his nomination to contest as the Presidential candidate. His name was proposed by actor and producer Kamal Haasan.

However the Election Officers Retired Justice S.Rajeshwaran has withheld the nomination papers filed by Vishal. He has said that the Producers Council is planning to appeal in the Court against Vishal contesting the elections. Hence they have temporarily stopped Vishal's application and it will be accepted after the Court's verdict.

The elections for the Producers Council will be held on March 5, 2017.
