The Paruthi Veeran` director Ameer vouched the wishes of Rajini fans at the audio launch of Lingaa` and requested Rajini to consider entering into politics. “Dhanush & I had registered the title Lingaa; and the moment Rajini asked it, we gave it away, and for that reason, the team Lingaa` had invited me over here and I`m honored to share the stage,” – Said Ameer.

He adds that everyone is expecting Rajini to become the CM of Tamilnadu and his fans have been waiting for more than a decade to see you making that big decision. This year, people of TN will have one more Diwali, as the Lingaa` is scheduled to release on Dec 12th 2014. Rajini is the only superstar and no one else can take that position. Rajini is an all India icon and the biggest star of our country.

Before concluding his speech, Ameer said that, not only the people who have gathered here are wishing to see you making your way to politics, in fact the entire state is waiting for you. All you just have to announce your arrival and the victory will follow you just like that.
