Actor-director S J Suryah is pinning all his hopes on Thirumagan, his forthcoming release. Directed by debutant A N Rathnakumar, the story is set in a remote village. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, the movie features Meera Jasmine opposite Suryah.

Perhaps after Kizhakku Seemaiyilae, Thirumagan would be the film that would capture the aura of the remote villages in Tamil screen, says Thanu.

Heaping laurels on debutant director Rathnakumar, he says, “He has conceived a different storyline and has been ably supported by his star cast including Suryah and Meera Jasmine.”

Music by Deva has been declared a hit and the audio sales is encouraging, says Rathnakumar. On his part, Suryah expressed his joy at being part of a different film. “It would be a different film in my career and I hope it would strike rich.”
