Farhan Akhtar is elated as Toofan crosses a new milestone

Farhan Akhtar's recently released sports drama 'Toofan' has crossed a new milestone. It has become most watched movie on Amazon Prime within a week of its release. After its release on 16th of March, it has become a huge success as people watched it more than any other Hindi movie released on Prime. Farhan is quite happy that his hardwork and dedication is being acknowledged by so many people.

He thanked his audience through an Instagram post that read, "One must work hard regardless of reward but when it comes, it’s important to recognise those who made it happen. Thank you for making #Toofaan the most watched film on @primevideoin". The also shared a poster which featured him in the boxing ring and wrote, " Thank you for being in our corner, Lots of love - Farhan Akhtar '' over it.

Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, 'Toofan' followed an underdog boxer from the slums on Mumbai who rises to make name for himself in the game. He is aided by his love interest, played by Mrunal Thakur, and coach, played by Paresh Rawal.
