A producer has lodged a complaint against a Tamil film hero for Five Crore Rupees fraud that has caused a great stir in the film industry.

Vimal is one of the notable heroes in Tamil cinema and his recent web series 'Vilanku' was very well received by the audience. Now, a film producer named Gopi from Bangalore has filed a fraud complaint against actor Vimal at the Chennai Police Commissioner's Office.

In the complaint, Gopi said that when Vimal acted in the film 'Mannar Vagaiyara', the actor had taken a loan of Rs 5 crores from him and promised that he would share the profits of the film with him. But he had not repaid the loan and had not shared any of the profits.

Producer Gopi's complaint further read, "Even though Vimal is currently acting in more than 10 films, he has not repaid the Rs 5 crore he owes and he makes death threats when he was asked to repay the debt. Therefore, take legal action against Vimal and collect the Rs 5 crores he owes to me."
