The much-awaited Kamal Haasan starrer Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu is nearing completion.

A major portion of the movie has been shot while the remaining scenes would be canned in southern parts of Tamil Nadu.

Talking about the film, producer Manickam Narayanan of Seventh Channel says, 'so far, the movie has come good. Gowtham Menon and Kamal Haasan have been giving their heart out to make the movie count at the box office. About 75 per cent of the film has been shot.

On shooting in the USA, he said, a special helicopter was used for shooting and moreover being winter season, we had to shoot only between 11 am and 3 pm there. Shooting in busy traffic in New York was a stiff challenge'.

The movie is about honest police officer who sets out on a mission to New York to unravel the mysteries of his friend's death. He along with a cop in USA cracks the case. In between he comes across a bubbly young girl - Jyothika and falls in love with her.
