A former Bigg Boss contestant, who is also a popular singer, was allegedly molested in the elevator of a hotel in Noida Sector 18 by a friend. The singer registered a case with the police not long after.

The former Bigg Boss contestant's statement to the police reportedly mentioned that she was staying at the hotel in Noida for a shoot. While she was on her way to the room at approximately 8.30 pm on Wednesday, she was sexually harassed by a man acquainted with her on the elevator. According to reports, the man had grabbed her hands and attempted to molest her.

The singer had immediately alerted the staff at the hotel as well as the police officials, who arrested the man. The accused has been released on bail while the victim has sought police protection for herself post the incident.
