Vishwak Sen's highly anticipated mythological epic 'Gaami' made a grand debut on the auspicious eve of Maha Shivaratri, captivating audiences with its fresh storyline, unique screenplay, and stunning visuals. Despite its limited budget, the film delivered an immersive cinematic experience on the big screen.

The movie "Gaami" follows the adventurous quest of Shankar, an orphan and Aghora, as he embarks on a journey to find Maali leaves, a cure for a disorder that appears on Earth only once every 36 years. This quest is Shankar's only opportunity to transform his life, and he sets off for the Dronagiri mountain in the Himalayas to find these elusive leaves.

The movie features Vishwak Sen in the lead role as Shankar. Chandini Chowdary portrays the character Jahnavi, while Abhinaya appears as Durga. The film also stars Harika Pedda, Dayanand Reddy, Mohammad Samad, Shanti Rao, Mayank Parakh, Sridhar, John Kottoly, Sharath Kumar, Rajnish, Aumkar Katamaraji, Venkat, Unnikrishnan, and others in pivotal roles.

On its opening day, 'Gaami' raked in an impressive worldwide gross of Rs 9.07 CR+, marking the highest opener for Vishwak Sen's career. The film's strong performance extended to the USA, where it collected over 250K+ on day one, an exceptional achievement for a small-budget film.

'Gaami' has received positive reviews from both critics and the general public, who praised its innovative storytelling, Vidyadhar Kagita's exceptional direction, and Vishwak Sen's compelling performance in a challenging role.
