Golden star Ganesh is celebrating silver jubilee! How is it with a tag of ‘Golden’ (50 it is Golden) one would ask. He has taken up 25th film (25 is silver) ‘Buguri’ in the direction of MD Sridhar.

In a freewheeling chat on the day of launch of ‘Buguri’…Preethiya Suththa golden star Ganesh remembers the very tough days of ‘Chellata’ of producer Jagadish Kotyan his first one as hero. As an actor I have reached to 38 films but starting from MD Sridhar ‘Chellata’ 100 days film in 2005 always remain memory because of wave it received before and after making of the film.

It was a thunderstorm wave for me as lot of persons told director Sridhar and producer Jagadish Kotyan that it will not work out for investment with me as hero. What does he know? He is a television actor doing side role in Kannada films. Think before you take the decision was told to producer Jagadish Kotyan.

‘I am well settled in life’ at ‘Gaalipata’ time! I came with Rs.200 and have to say ‘Namaskara’ for destiny that brought me to this situation of comfort zone declared Ganesh. I saw the days of three of my films running in over 500 theatres in Karnataka earning gross of Rs.100 crores in the year 2007 and 2008. Ganesh also remembers days of falling down and learning lessons from two of his films in 25 done so far. Be it bounced cheques or lesson learnt from two producers have made me to shape up well says Ganesh.

Golden star is on social work too. ‘Save Lake’ campaign he has taken up has given him some knowledge on the cause of worry in drinking water and drainage water. My wife Shilpa is in BJP and would take up more social works says Ganesh brimming with happiness.

It has been fruitful journey, learning experience and given me life and love from the people of Karnataka adds Golden star Ganesh.
