Vignesh Shivan's 'Gang' is one film whose collections have been only growing day by day this season. Unlike the other three Sankranthi releases, this film's distributor's share is said to be rising and rising.

For example, in Krishna district, the crime comedy collected (in share terms) Rs. 5.56 lakhs on the first day. On Day 4, however, it made Rs. 9.06 lakhs.

It's learned that this trend is holding good for several other territories. Factors helping this are: Positive word of mouth, encouraging reviews, the genre, the star cast and, of course, the way UV Creations and their hero, Suriya, are engaging in the promotions.

Recently, the distributors added a few more theatres compared to Day 1.
