Gautham Menon goes for Madhavan

Gautham Menon is all set to start his multistarrer 'Ondraga' with Madhavan, Anushka, Puneeth Rajkumar, and Tovino Thomas, among others. The film will have music by AR Rahman and will be a road movie.

Word had leaked out that 'Ondraga' will be a sequel to the director's superhit 'Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya' ('Ye Maya Chesave' in Telugu) and it has now been confirmed that Madhavan will replace Simbu as Karthick in the film.

The film will feature a Telugu star as well. While there are unconfirmed reports that it's Sai Dharam Tej, he is least likely to star in the film. As for Simbu, he is busy toning up for Mani Ratnam's next. Which could be the reason he has given Menon's film a skip.
