'Geetha Govindam' grosses 1.5M in US; Aus is going great

Geetha Govindam grosses 1.5M in US; Aus is going great

If 'Pelli Choopulu' grossed USD 1.2 million in the US, 'Arjun Reddy' did even better.  It grossed USD 1.7 million in the crucial Overseas territory.  And 'Geetha Govindam' is projected to cross USD 2 million.  

As of the end of Sunday, the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer has grossed USD 1.5 million (more than Rs. 10 Cr)!  On Saturday, it had made USD 354,000, while on Sunday, it mopped up another USD 200,000.  

The Parasuram directorial is doing well even in Australia, doing better than Akshay Kumar's 'Gold' and 'Satyameva Jayate'.  "The *combined* weekend biz of the two Hindi films [A$ 192,306] is less than that of #GeethaGovindam [A$ 202,266]," a trade analyst reveals.
