It is a good take off with lot of bumpers in the form of surprises but bad ending for `Ghalaate'. Senior director MD Sridhar goes pointless at the end.

It is once again a confusion technique and a love letter that reaches the elders without names leads to awkward situations. The love letter written by one in favor of another also gets mileage as the protagonist is so clever in identifying the handwriting.

Abhi (Prajwal) likes Shalini (Hardika Shetty) a model. Looking at her at ramp walk, swimming pool dip he decides to propose his love. Shalini is liked by her trainer Jackie (Tilak). That leads to vengeance between Abhi and Jackie. However the lass with beautiful looks Ankitha (Kriti Karbanda) best friend of Abhi silently loving him helps in reaching the love letter of Abhi to Shalini. Before this letter reaches the right persons it goes to the hands of wrong persons.

Shalini bold and dashing appearing for a photo shoot the plot of Jackie disturbs the mind of Abhi. That eventually creates ripples. Abhi and Shalini announced break up but the family members are looking for muhurut for marriage. Abhi at this time recognizes the lovely lines she had written on behalf of Shalini to Abhi. That moves him to her house where grandmother gives the bit of her mind to Abhi.

Who is the match for Abhi is the question you get answer in the theatres on silver screen.

Kriti Karbanda looks lovely and her presence is lively. It is a good beginning for Hardika Shetty (change of name from Nisha Shetty). Hardhika gets attention for her swimming pools shots and dashing photo shoot. She has acted well in one of the important scenes.

Thara timid nature, Shobaraj outburst, Shashikumar as professor and Suman Ranganath as College Principal gather good attention.

Jassie Gift Manasaare Manaseri...Buddi Illa Dadda Naanu..are timely fit into the proceedings of the film. The camera work of Krishnakumar is superb.

This is worth watching once.
