Saturday, June 12, 2010 • Telugu Comments

Explosive! One adjective that is tantamount to tall hunk Gopichand! It is our explosive star’s birthday June 12th today and let us wish Gopichand a terrific and success filled year ahead!

Gopichand turns 31 this year. His birthday gift this year would be the success of ‘Golimaar’ as it has been declared a hit by trade. He now has B.Gopal’s movie along with another that will be directed by writer BVS Raju.

Coming back to that adjective ‘Explosive’, Gopichand had a struggling beginning from the personal front as well as in his career. As a hero he was not quite noticed till he played the wicked villain in ‘Jayam’. Ever since that he was noticed for his wily performances and made himself a noticeable face. Remember his performance in ‘Nijam’! That sure is ‘explosive’.

Well after that is something we all know. He delivered hits after hits and got himself a trademark of being an action hero! ‘Yagnam’, ‘Andhrudu’, Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s ‘Okkadu Unnadu’ and many other action movies, Gopi proved himself with his heavyweight fights and high voltage dialogues. Banging the goons with his muscular hands or shooting them down with his guns, Gopi is the action hero who has filled the post that Tollywood had it vacant for a long time.

Besides the action, his romantic side has always been on a high. His heroines don’t complaint and the chemistry with them is as natural as it should be. Dance and duets, Gopi is like any other Tollywood hero and has got good marks in his report card. Well not just that, his costumes as well. Gopi looks terrific in western wear!

Besides that talking about his fun side! The comedy in movies, Gopi is lively on screen. Recall the college scene in ‘Ranam’ where he poses as a professor and pulls the students’ legs! Gopichand has that right mix of all the essential elements that the right Tollywood hero needs! Having said that IndiaGlitz wishes the ‘explosive’ hero an exciting year ahead! Happy Birthday Gopi!
